My name is Sal Blydenburgh before moving to Oregon I lived in Southern Califonia and had a syndicated radio show which aired in 4 states. The show was promoted to raise money for the children in that area. I also worked in studios as a set designer and as a second job I worked in night clubs spinning records. Sound Stage began in 1972 and my experience included both private and corporate parties for people such as Pavarotti, David Janson, Polly Bergen, Rolling Stones, cast & crew parties for Knott’s Landing, Starsky & Hutch, Fantasy Island, Eight Is Enough and more. I moved to Oregon in 1992 to finish raising my children. After doing so, I decided to go back into the music industry as that is my true compassion along with working with young people. I have worked locally providing sound for various venues including school dances, local bands such as Funktional Fusion, River City R&B, The Mixers, Buck Harms Country Band, River City Rythm and Blues, Boatnick Stge and more. Various charity events including Relay For Life, National Guard, Community Center and more. I assisted with setting up sound equipment and running audio for 3 years for Cycle Oregon, I assist and work with promoters in booking entertainment at Seven Feathers, Performed DJ services for Weddings, Anniversaries, birthday parties, schools and work with the Old Time Radio Players providing light and sound. I enjoy all styles of music from Doo Wop to Hip Hop! Three years ago I pulled together some of the best singers and musicians in the area and formed a group called Sound Stage Revue which can also be found on this website and booked for your next event.
